Result of Hong Kong Qualifying Tournament
Hong Kong Qualifying Tournament was held on 6th December 2017 at Towngas cooking centre and 10 chefs competed for their technical expertise and passion for Japanese food.
The first section was cooking technique (basic knife skills) test for 30 minutes.
The second section was cooking their original recipe of “Suimono”(for five people) in 90minutes, which they have submitted for the application screening.
And the winner is …
1st place: Wai-Leung Ho [Hong Kong, China] – Matsunichi

For the 2nd and 3rd place were
2nd place: Ho-Yin Yung [Hong Kong, China] – Kenjo
3rd place: Cheung-Chi Ming [Hong Kong, China] – sen-ryo
Wai-Leung Ho grasped the chance to the Final in Tokyo! Please give him a round of applause.
