Result of New York Qualifying Tournament
New York Qualifying Tournament was held on 30th October 2017 at Institute of Culinary Education and 6 chefs competed for their technical expertise and passion for Japanese food.
The first section was cooking technique (basic knife skills) test for 30 minutes and the second section was cooking their original recipe of “Suimono”(for five people) in 90minutes, which they have submitted for the application screening.
Strict check by judges.
And the winner is …

3rd place: Jordan Burella [Canada] – Zen Japanese Restaurant
David grasped the chance to the Final in Tokyo! Please give him a round of applause.
