Result of Tokyo Qualifying Tournament
Tokyo Qualifying Tournament was held on 22nd January 2018 at Chubo Shiodome and 5 chefs competed for their technical expertise and passion for Japanese food.
The first section was cooking technique (basic knife skills) test for 30 minutes.
The second section was cooking their original recipe of “Suimono”(for five people) in 90minutes, which they have submitted for the application screening.
And the winner is …
1st place: Christopher Massad [USA] – Tankuma Kitamise

2nd place: Tsung-Hisn Yu[Taiwan] – MIAOLIN FOODS CO
3rd place: Chun-Ming Lin[Taiwan] –Shintori Taipei
Christopher grasped the chance to the Final in Tokyo! Please give him a round of applause.
